15,000+ attendees across town-centre sites; BBC broadcasting live; pop up stages in a college, a library, shopping arcade, market hall; national coverage; celebrated by Arts Council England and UK Music for music-led place-making.The story? Sonic Boom wasn’t a music festival. It was a multi-layered civic experiment that had to work for everyone: the council, residents, volunteers, suppliers, venues, partners, artists and the public.We built:

It became national news, brought thousands into Burton, and proved what a place can be when the idea, the system and the execution line up.
